What is the 50% payout rule?

The 50% Payout Rule Explained:

When you request a payout , one single trading day's profits cannot exceed 50% of the total profits accumulated.

Please see the following example of a trading week:

Monday P/LTuesday P/LWednesday P/LThursday P/LFriday P/LWeekly Profit
+$75-$40+$480+$140-$35+$620

As you can see, the total profit made this week was $620.

The 50% payout rule means that upon a payout request, we cannot send profits from single trading days where the profit recorded was higher than half of this amount. ($310)

This means that until more profit is genarated on this account, the profit from Wednesday which is higher than $310, would remain in the trading account until the total profit reaches at least twice this amount. ($960)
