The Daily Loss Limit at FTUK Futures represents the maximum amount you are allowed to lose in a single trading day. This limit includes both closed and floating losses, as well as broker commissions and fees.
For all accounts, the limit is set at 2.5% of the initial balance.
What Happens if I Reach the Limit?
If you reach this limit, your trading will be disabled for the remainder of the day. It’s important to note that this limit resets to its original amount at the beginning of each new trading day, regardless of your previous profits or losses.
At FTUK Futures, exceeding the Daily Loss Limit is classified as a soft breach. If a trader surpasses this limit, they will temporarily lose their trading access for the rest of that day. However, their access will be automatically restored the following day, allowing them to resume trading.
No Daily Drawdown Add-On
If this rule interferes with your trading strategy, you have the option to select the "No Daily DD" add-on when purchasing your desired plan. Accounts with this add-on will not be impacted by the daily drawdown limit.
