What is the maximum loss I am allowed to risk on a trade?

Accepted Answer

Risk management is of the utmost importance. This shows us that you are capable of managing risk and trading at an expert level. You will have a maximum OVERALL loss (or absolute drawdown including floating profits/losses), a fixed amount that is associated with your account. This will be monitored strictly, and if broken, will result in account termination.

You can only risk 2% per pair and placing a stoploss is mandatory.
If you have purchased the no stop loss add-on, you can risk any percentage you want and don’t need to place a stoploss.

Can I use an EA or Robot?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we allow the use of any risk management EA or Trading Bot as long as they are not used in the following ways:

Martingale
Tick scalping
Reverse arbitrage trading
Latency arbitrage trading
Hedge arbitrage trading
HFT (High Frequency Trading), Grid Trading

||| It is a violation if this rule is broken. Any accounts using these types of EAs will be terminated without a warning.

Question 3

How often can I withdraw my profits?

Once you have made it to level 2 or higher, you can withdraw your profits anytime as long as your share is above:

Question 4

Do I need to be consistent in my trades?

Accepted Answer

FTUK traders should demonstrate logical risk throughout their trading month. We do not limit your risk or lot size on situations. For this reason, you are expected to use consistent risk throughout each trading month. We ask our traders to adhere to the following guidelines:

Traders should use consistent risk each day.
Traders should use a consistent trading style throughout their trading month. You may also choose to use multiple styles, but if so, this pattern would also need to be consistent throughout the month.
Traders should not increase their risk drastically at any point.

What happens if we find inconsistencies?

You still receive your pay-outs. However, we will review your performance with you to iron out any issues and help you to grow faster. We do not punish you for inconsistent behaviour, we simply need more time to assess your trading skills.

Question 5

I’ve passed, when will I get my payout?

Accepted Answer

Traders who sign up for the evaluation program will start earning on their level 2 funded account. Once a trader has traded for a minimum of 10 trading days on their level 2 will be eligible for a payout.

Question 6

Does FTUK allow all trading styles?

Accepted Answer

We allow all different profitable trading styles, the trader is free to manage their account using any strategy including scalping, day trading, swing trading and news trading.
