Instant Sim Funding uses an end-of-day trailing drawdown and a daily loss limit.
Account size | EOD drawdown | Daily loss limit |
$25,000 | $1,000 | $750 |
$50,000 | $2,000 | $1,500 |
$100,000 | $3,500 | $2,000 |
$150,000 | $5,250 | $3,000 |
How EOD drawdown works
The EOD drawdown level follows the highest completed end-of-day balance. It does not move higher because of intraday floating profit. If your equity reaches or falls below the active EOD drawdown level, your account is permanently breached.
How the daily loss limit works
If you reach the daily loss limit, the account is locked for the rest of that trading day. The daily loss limit resets at the beginning of the next trading day. The daily reset does not reset or alter the EOD drawdown.
Important difference
The daily loss limit is a temporary trading lock. Reaching the active EOD drawdown is a permanent breach. Always monitor your dashboard before placing a trade.
